Cultivating resilient apparel communities through circularity, transparency, and equity.
We believe in the right to know the origins of our clothing, including the environment and the individuals involved in manufacturing.
Mission
Committed to the well-being of both people and the planet, our mission is to create a widespread network of geographical manufacturing clusters with completely transparent supply chains, while advancing the use of natural dyes and fibers, to mend the fractures within the apparel industry.
Vision
Know Your Clothing’s vision is to create a global network of geographical apparel manufacturing clusters, ensuring supply chain transparency, and minimizing waste, while promoting the widespread adoption of natural dyes and fibers.
Supply Chain Transparency
We aspire to create a future where transparency in the sourcing and manufacturing of clothing guarantees fair treatment for workers and empowers consumers to understand the origins and individuals behind every garment.
Values
Circularity
We strive to minimize environmental impact by producing apparel on demand. This approach reduces the use of virgin materials and decreases overproduction and waste that would otherwise go to the landfill.
Local Communities
We are dedicated to improving local economies and reducing the carbon footprint of finished goods by sourcing from local farmers and manufacturers.
Natural Fibers and Dyes
We prioritize the use of natural fibers and dyes. The current industry relies on synthetic fibers and fossil fuel driven dyes. By scaling up natural fibers and dyes, we reduce the amount of microplastics, harmful dyes, and their impacts to the environment.
